Overview
A comprehensive A/V upgrade for Coggin Avenue Baptist Church, including a new online production room, acoustic treatment, and streaming improvements. The centerpiece is an Absen PL2.9 Lite V10 video wall at 2.97 mm, with audio moved to Dante and video routed as SDI over fiber. Congregation microphones improved the livestream, and an iPad Pro handles wireless mixing.
Limitations
- Years of partial upgrades from different vendors had stacked on top of each other.
- The budget could not absorb a single, total overhaul.
The Solution
FM helped the church rank what mattered, then designed a phased, turnkey path. Phase one took audio and video. Lighting, the main PA, Q-SYS room control, wireless, and network upgrades were drawn as phase two so the ministry could move without pretending the budget was larger than it was.
