Overview
Cross City’s chapel hosts a traditional service with a 40-member choir and an 8- to 12-piece orchestra, a modern Español service with a four-piece band and praise team, and the church’s weddings and funerals. The audio system had to respect all three without rebuilding the room.

Limitations
- The stage and the idea of permanent front fills were structurally off the table.
- The wooden ceiling had to stay visually untouched.
- Parallel side walls and a brick rear wall had no acoustic treatment.
The Solution
Stereo L-Acoustics A Series arrays, LA4X amplifiers, A Series outfills, flown KS21 subwoofers, and X12 choir monitors. Speech stays intelligible. The room stays live enough for acoustic instruments. A Q-SYS DSP with a custom touch panel handles power sequencing, amplifier monitoring, and basic front-of-house control.
